BloxNote is one of those Roblox releases that shows up on the front of the platform and then spreads by word of mouth. The build everyone is playing right now is labelled v0.1, and the game page still carries the developer tag for a brand-new release. So how much game is actually in the beta?
Short answer: a complete round loop with four roles, a hard cap of 13 players per server, and cross-device support. Here is the confirmed picture.
The confirmed version timeline
| Item | Confirmed detail |
|---|---|
| Version label | 0.1 |
| Games page name | RELEASE: BloxNote |
| Place created | 4 September 2026 |
| Last updated | 20 September 2026 |
| Access | Free to play, no paid entry |
| Developer | PageBound |
The gap between creation and the last update is worth reading. The place existed in development for about two weeks before the build went public on 20 September. That is a fast ship, and it tells you the developer is iterating on a live game rather than holding features back for a big launch.
What v0.1 contains
The public build ships the full four-role loop:
- Investigator — complete all tasks to win while working alongside L to find Kira.
- L — assist the Investigators and help uncover Kira before they can DELETE everyone.
- Kira and Kira Follower — work together to DELETE all players, and specifically DELETE L, to win.
Around that loop, v0.1 also confirms:
- Servers of up to 13 players.
- Support for PC, Console and Mobile.
- A standard R6 avatar setup, so your character keeps its classic proportions.
- No private servers at all, which keeps everyone in public lobbies.
How the beta is doing
When we checked, the public API reported the following for BloxNote.
| Metric | Value at time of check |
|---|---|
| Visits | About 1.74 million |
| Favourites | About 23,600 |
| Players online | About 1,600 |
| Badges | None |
Two things stand out. First, roughly 1,600 players online at a single moment means you will never struggle to fill a lobby, which matters a lot for a game that needs 13 people to function. Second, there are no badges yet — an easy first addition for a v0.1 game, and a sign of how thin the progression layer still is.
An important clarification about the word beta
BloxNote is not a key-gated closed test. There is no beta code, no allowlist and no paid access — you open the game page and press Play. The v0.1 label signals how early the build is, not who is allowed in.
Practically, that changes what you should expect. Early builds on Roblox tend to gain systems in this order: the core loop, then badges and progression, then a store, then private servers. BloxNote has the core loop and the servers. The rest has not shipped.
What is not in v0.1 yet
The official material does not mention badges, a shop, a progression track, an in-game currency, limited-time events, or a private server option, and none of those appear on the game listing. If you see a guide promising beta-exclusive rewards or a beta unlock code, it is inventing content that the developer has not announced.
For the actual rules of a match, our BloxNote how-to-play guide breaks down all four roles and the win condition for each side using the official description.
